Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do you know dogs will get on?
A: Although I do socialise packs of up to 8, I will only introduce one new (or 2 if from the same home) dogs at a time. I carry out an introduction meeting and first assessment on every dog when I first meet them

Q: Why can't my un-neutered dog join in?
A: Whilst all dogs are encouraged to start with us as soon as possible, a males testosterone will begin to kick in any time from 7+ months. (We will of course notice this when it starts & let the owner know). Hour walks may still be possible between this and neutering, however day care and boarding will not be suitable. This is not because we assume being in-tact automatically means naughtiness and humping etc. It is because when dealing with a pack, putting a full male in changes the energy and demeanor of the others.

Q: Where will my dog stay at night when boarding?
A: I don't have kennels, I offer a home environment treating your dog as if he/she was my own. I have my own good sized garden and a selection of dog beds for boarders to choose from.

Q: Do you offer dog training?
A: I am not currently a qualified trainer (although this is something I plan to study / qualify in over the next year). However I can of course instill the basics in dogs I care for regularly, carry out off lead & recall work etc.
